Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish to prevent sticking.
In a separate bowl, combine the beef, egg, oats, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and 1/2 cup of onion.
Mix the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls.
Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the baking dish.
In another bowl, mix together the ketchup, garlic, sugar, 1/4 cup onion, and liquid smoke.
Pour the mixture evenly over the meatballs.
In preheated oven, bake for 1 hour or until the minimum internal temperature of a meatball reaches 160 degrees .
