Place pot over medium/high heat, and bring to a boil.
In the meantime, in a skillet, add olive oil, and place over medium heat.
Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
When the skillet is hot, add the seasoned shrimp for approximately 2 minutes, flip the shrimp, and cook another approximately 2 minutes, or until the shrimp is opaque.
When the water in the pot is boiling, add linquine, and cook approximately 1 - 3 minutes, or until the pasta is firm to the bite, but tender.
Place a small saucepan over medium heat.
In the small saucepan, add lemon juice, and lemon zest, and bring to a simmer.
Add in parsley, and butter. Stirring until the butter has melted.
Add in 2 tablespoons of the pasta water and stir to mix well.
Using a colander, drain water off of pasta.
In a large serving bowl, add the drained pasta, lemon sauce, and shrimp. Stir to mix.
