In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic. Mix well using your hands.
Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized hamburger patties.
Lightly oil the grill grate.
Place the hamburger patties on the grill and cook for 5 minutes per side or until well done.
While grilling, baste the patties frequently with your favorite barbeque sauce.
