garlic powder

dried parsley

loaf Italian bread
cut into ½ inch slices

(8oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
On a baking sheet, place Italian bread. Set aside for later.
Place a small sized saucepan over medium heat.
Add butter. Stir to melt.
Stir in garlic powder and parsley.
Using a basting brush, generously coat the top of the Italian bread with the melted butter mix.
In preheated oven, bake 10 minutes, or until the bread has toasted slightly.
Remove baking sheet from the oven, and any leftover butter, and top with the mozzarella cheese.
Place back in the oven and bake another 5 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese has melted, and the Italian bread is lightly browned.
