ground round beef

egg yolks

cup
parmesan cheese
freshly grated
salt
to taste
fresh ground black pepper
to taste

butter
divided

onion
thinly sliced

tablespoon
olive oil
½
cup
heavy cream
1
tablespoon
balsamic vinegar
Instructions
In a medium sized mixing bowl, add beef, egg yolks, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
Using your hands, mix well.
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions.
Form each of the 6 portions into patty shapes.
Place a heavy skillet over medium/high heat.
In the skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
Add ground beef patties and brown on both sides.
Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking until the beef juice is pink
Take the beef patties out of the skillet and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
In the same skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon butter, olive oil, and onion.
Cook, stirring often until the onions are golden brown.
Reduce heat to low.
Add heavy cream and vinegar, stir to mix.
Cook, stirring often for 2 minutes.
To serve, pour sauce over the hamburger patties.
