Ingredients

flank steak
cut into bite-size pieces

cup
cornstarch
2
teaspoons
olive oil
½
cup
brown sugar
1
onion
thinly sliced
3
large green onions
sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
1
tablespoon
minced garlic
½
cup
water
½
cup
hoisin sauce
½
cup
soy sauce
½
teaspoon
minced fresh ginger root
Instructions
In a Zip Lock bag, add cornstarch and flank steak. Shake to coat
Leave the flank steak in the bag for approx 10 minutes.
In a large skillet, add oil and heat over medium/high heat.
In the skillet, add steak and cook while stirring until browned. Approx 3 or 4 minutes.
In the slow cooker, add steak, Brown sugar, onion, green onion, garlic, water, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and ginger.
Set slow cooker to low and cook for 4 hours.
