(0.7 ounce) dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
Instructions
Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry them using paper towels.
Put the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
Spoon the melted butter over the chicken, ensuring some gets underneath each piece.
Seal the slow cooker, turn it to HIGH, and allow the chicken to cook until it is soft, which should take between 4 to 5 hours.
In a large saucepan, combine the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and Italian salad dressing mix.
Heat the mixture on medium, stirring constantly until it reaches a boil.
Keep stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Evenly distribute the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Replace the lid and cook on High for another 30 minutes until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld.
