This apple crumb pie is a simple way to turn tart Granny Smith apples into a cozy dessert.
The filling uses cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little sugar for balance. You can mix in walnuts or raisins if you like extra texture, but it’s just as good without.
The crumb topping bakes up golden and crisp while the apples turn soft underneath.
A ready-made crust makes this recipe easy. Most of the prep is just slicing apples and mixing the topping.
Once baked and cooled, it cuts cleanly and stores well in the fridge. It’s a nice option for the holidays or any time apples are in season.

How to Store and Reheat
