Prepare the pork ribs by removing any large pieces of silver skin or excess fat. Remember, don't boil the ribs.
Sprinkle salt, ground black pepper, and seasoned salt generously on both sides of the ribs.
Cover a baking sheet with foil, making sure it has edges all around. Lightly spray the foil with cooking spray.
Place the ribs in a 350-degree Fahrenheit oven for about 20 minutes. Flip them occasionally until the meat starts to brown on both sides.
Take out the ribs and brush your favorite BBQ sauce on both sides. Put them back in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20 minutes. Flip them halfway through.
Once the BBQ sauce starts to caramelize (but not burn), add another generous amount of sauce to the tops of the ribs.
Position the ribs with the top side facing up. Cover them with aluminum foil, making a loose tent that doesn't touch the tops of the ribs. Make sure to seal all sides tightly by folding the foil under the edges of the baking sheet.
Reduce the oven temperature to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. This step is very important to prevent the sauce from burning.
Place the ribs back in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit and set a timer for about 2 hours.
Take out the baking sheet and carefully peel back one corner of the foil to check the meat. Use a fork to test if it easily comes off the bone. If it doesn't, return the ribs to the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit and check every 20 minutes until the meat is tender.
