Ingredients

baby back ribs
trimmed
salt
to taste
ground black pepper
to taste

cup
water
½
onion
sliced

clove
garlic
minced
Instructions
Season ribs evenly with salt and pepper.
Pour ½ cup water into the slow cooker.
Place the seasoned ribs into the slow cooker.
Scatter onion and garlic over the ribs.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on Low for 8 hours or on High for 4 hours.
Close to when the ribs are done, preheat your oven to 375° F
Carefully move the ribs from the slow cooker to a baking sheet.
Throw away the onion and garlic.
Coat the ribs with barbecue sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven until the sauce caramelizes and sticks to the ribs, about 10 to 15 minutes.
