velveeta cheese
cut up

shredded Cheddar cheese

cooked macaroni
drained

tablespoon
seasoned dry breadcrumbs

Instructions
In a large saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
Add flour and salt to the saucepan, cooking and stirring for 1 minute.
Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Mix in the cheese product and 1½ cups of shredded cheese until they melt.
Stir the cooked macaroni into the saucepan.
Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased 1½ quart casserole dish.
In a small bowl, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and mix it with the breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle the top of the casserole with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese and the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until everything is hot and bubbly.
Notes
Note: For a richer taste replace part of the milk with evaporated milk.
