beer

Instructions
In a shallow bowl, place the flour.
Add the beaten egg to the flour.
Add the dried parsley, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt and pepper to the bowl.
Gradually add the beer to the bowl.
Using a wire whisk, mix until a thick batter forms. Add more beer if needed.
In a heavy frying pan, pour the vegetable oil to about two inches deep.
Heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Dip the onion rings into the batter, making sure they are well coated.
Carefully place the battered onion rings into the hot oil.
Fry the onion rings, turning once, until they are browned evenly on both sides.
Remove the onion rings from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain.
