Irish Cream Truffle Chocolate Fudge: An easy, creamy dessert perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Rich chocolate, Irish cream, and nuts combine for a heavenly treat.
Place 3 cups of semisweet chocolate chips, 1 cup of white chocolate chips, and ¼ cup of butter in the top part of a double boiler. Heat them until they're soft enough to stir.
Add in the powdered sugar and Irish cream, stirring until the mixture becomes smooth.
Mix in the nuts. Then, transfer this mixture into the pan you prepared earlier.
Lay a sheet of plastic wrap over the top of the mixture in the pan. Press down and smooth out the top.
In the same top part of the double boiler, melt the remaining chocolates until they're soft.
Take it off the heat. Now, using a fork, beat in the butter and Irish cream until everything is smooth.
Use a knife to spread this topping over the cooled fudge. If you want the top to be extra smooth, you can cover it with plastic wrap again.
Refrigerate the fudge until it's firm, which should take about 1 to 2 hours. If you want, you can also freeze it for later.
