panko breadcrumbs

chopped fresh parsley

American cheese

Smoked or three-cheese Italian style sausage
quartered and sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cook macaroni according to package directions.
Using a colander, drain the pasta.
Combine panko, parsley, and olive oil in a bowl.
At the same time, in another saucepan, melt the butter on medium heat.
Stir in the flour until it's smooth, and then slowly whisk in the milk.
Add the cheese and keep stirring until it melts.
Add the cooked macaroni and sausage.
Pour everything into a baking dish. Sprinkle the panko mixture on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
