  • In a large stainless steel saucepan, add apple cider and maple syrup.
  • The the center of the prewashed cheesecloth, place cloves, cinnamon sticks, orange peel, whole allspice berries, and lemon peel.
  • Pick up the corners of the cheesecloth to form a bundle. Tie with kitchen string.
  • Place the bundle in the saucepan.
  • Place the saucepan over medium/high heat, and heat for approximately 5 – 10 minutes, or until the liquid is hot, but not yet boiling.
  • Take pan off of heat, carefully remove and discard the bundle.
  • Using a ladle, place cider in mugs
  • Add a cinnamon stick to each mug
