They are extremely easy to make and everyone will love them!
This recipe is vegetarian, kid-friendly, and can be made with gluten-free cake mix if desired.

Note: If you wish, you can use Cake Pop Sticks instead of toothpicks if you wish to make Cake Pops instead of Cake Balls.
Optional: After dipping in chocolate, you can dip into sprinkles, or sprinkle over top of cake balls.

Easy Chocolate Balls or Cake Pops Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (18.25oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 container (16oz) prepared chocolate frosting
- 1 bar (3oz) chocolate flavored confectioners coating
- candy sprinkles Optional
Instructions
- Prepare cake following the instructions on the package using the recommended cake pan size.
- In a large bowl, crumble warm cake.
- Add in frosting and stir to mix well.
- In a glass bowl, add chocolate
- Using a melon baller, create balls of cake.
- In the microwave, melt chocolate for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave another 30 seconds, stir. Continue until chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Insert a toothpick in a cake ball
- Holding the toothpick, dip the cake ball in the melted chocolate.
- Place chocolate coated cake ball on wax paper to set.
