Optional: After dipping in chocolate, you can dip into sprinkles, or sprinkle over top of cake balls.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare cake following the instructions on the package using the recommended cake pan size.
  • In a large bowl, crumble warm cake.
  • Add in frosting and stir to mix well.
  • In a glass bowl, add chocolate
  • Using a melon baller, create balls of cake.
  • In the microwave, melt chocolate for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave another 30 seconds, stir. Continue until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Insert a toothpick in a cake ball
  • Holding the toothpick, dip the cake ball in the melted chocolate.
  • Place chocolate coated cake ball on wax paper to set.

Yield: 3 dozen
