  • Prepare a slow cooker by making 3 or 4 – 4" balls of aluminum foil and putting them in the bottom to act as a lift for the chicken.
  • Prepare the chicken by running cold water over the outside, and inside of the chicken.
  • Using paper towels, pat the chicken dry.
  • Using paprika, salt, and pepper, season the chicken.
  • Place prepared chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Turn the slow cooker to HIGH heat for 1 hour.
  • Reduce the heat to LOW for 8 – 10 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked, the juices run clear, and the chicken at the thickest part is no longer pink.
