  • Preheat oven to 350° F
  • In a mixing bowl, add crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 4½ tablespoons butter. Stir to mix well.
  • In a 9×13 baking dish, add pretzel mix and press in the bottom for form a crust.
  • In preheated oven, bake 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  • Set aside until cool.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add sugar and cream cheese.
  • Using a hand mixer, cream together until smooth
  • Fold in the thawed whipped topping.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on the cooled pretzel layer and smooth to an even layer.
  • Refrigerate approx 30 minutes, or until set.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add boiling water, and using a whisk, whisk in jello powder.
  • Stir in frozen strawberries until the strawberries thaw.
  • Gently pour the jello mix on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • Place in refrigerator a minimum of 1 hour, or until totally chilled through.
  • Store in refrigerator until serving.
