Asian Stir-Fry Pork with Ginger
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ inch fresh ginger root thinly sliced
- ¼ lb lean pork thinly sliced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp dark soy sauce
- ⅓ tsp sugar
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine
Instructions
- In a wok or large skillet, add vegetable oil and heat over medium/high heat.
- Add ginger and fry until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, pork, sugar, and salt.
- Cook stirring often for 10 minutes.
- Stir-in green onions, sesame oil, and rice wine.
- Simmer until the pork is tender.
