Tips and Tricks
Perfect Crust
To prevent your pie crust from getting soggy, pre-bake it for about 10 minutes before adding the filling. This will help it stay crisp and hold up better under the wet ingredients.
Evenly Thawed Spinach
Make sure to squeeze as much water as possible from the thawed spinach before adding it to the mixture. Excess moisture can make your quiche watery and affect its texture.
Cheese Distribution
To ensure the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the quiche, mix it with the flour mixture before combining it with the eggs. This helps prevent clumping and ensures every bite has a bit of cheesy goodness.
Check for Doneness
Use a toothpick or knife to check if the quiche is fully baked. Insert it into the center, and if it comes out clean, the quiche is done. If it has any wet batter, give it a few more minutes.
Cool Before Slicing
Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes after baking. This helps it set and makes it easier to slice without falling apart.
