Sinfully Delicious Coffee and Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Grease and flour either two 9-inch round cake pans or one 9×13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Create a well in the center of the mixture.
- Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla into the well.
- Beat the mixture on medium speed for 2 minutes. The batter will be thin.
- Pour it into the prepared pans.
- In preheated oven, bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans and placing on a wire rack.
