  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package (0.7 ounce) dry Italian-style salad dressing mix

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry them using paper towels.
  • Put the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
  • Spoon the melted butter over the chicken, ensuring some gets underneath each piece.
  • Seal the slow cooker, turn it to HIGH, and allow the chicken to cook until it is soft, which should take between 4 to 5 hours.
  • In a large saucepan, combine the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and Italian salad dressing mix.
  • Heat the mixture on medium, stirring constantly until it reaches a boil.
  • Keep stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Evenly distribute the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Replace the lid and cook on High for another 30 minutes until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld.
