Copycat Vanilla Wafers

- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- dash salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl and continue to beat.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until well combined.
