Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 lb loaf Italian bread cut into ½ inch slices
  • 1 pkg (8oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • On a baking sheet, place Italian bread. Set aside for later.
  • Place a small sized saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add butter. Stir to melt.
  • Stir in garlic powder and parsley.
  • Using a basting brush, generously coat the top of the Italian bread with the melted butter mix.
  • In preheated oven, bake 10 minutes, or until the bread has toasted slightly.
  • Remove baking sheet from the oven, and any leftover butter, and top with the mozzarella cheese.
  • Place back in the oven and bake another 5 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese has melted, and the Italian bread is lightly browned.
